An Introduction to RIFT

RIFT is a 3D fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed by Trion Worlds which was released last March 1, 2011. It is formerly known as Heroes of Telara and Rift: Planes of Telara.

The game is set in a world which is the focal point of different planes (worlds). You can explore the adventure in the world of Telara as either Guradian or a Defiant.

Money in Rift is broken down into platinum (also known as rift platinum), Gold, and Silver. Where silver is the lowest value and platinum being the highest value.

Like other mmo games, its in-game currency which is also called as rift gold enables you to buy special weapons and armor for your toon. You can also spend  it in re-doing the facial features of your hero.
