RIFT 1.3 Update Trailer

As Trion Worlds recently announced that they've surpassed one million player mark. They also published that update 1.3,Waves of Madness, will be available this coming June 22, 2011.

Looking For Group Tool at RIFT Patch 1.2

As Rift’s Patch 1.2 goes live last May 10, The RIFT LFG Tool ( or Looking For Group Tool) must be accessible to all Ascended. This new game feature enables the gamers to automatically form groups for dungeons, rifts, and group quests.  Complete random expert dungeons for additional bonuses.

The LFG Tool can be access from the main menu tray in the lower left corner of the screen or press "I". From the tabs at the bottom of LFG tool, you can select the dungeons, rifts or quests you like and then choose from available roles across the top of the window.

Additional rewards are given for completing various dungeons through the Looking For Group tool – these can be achieved up to seven times a week. In order to qualify for the special rewards, you must be ported within the dungeon with your group.

This tool can really be useful because it is much easier to get a group dungeon and instances, much greater chance to get equips and collectible items and exchange it for RIFT Platinum.

RIFT 1.2 Patch Notes Unveiled!

Trion Worlds have announced that the full patch notes for Rift update 1.2: The Spoils of War, will be release this tuesday, 10th of May. The game update caters new features including the facebook integration, youtube videos inside the game, new powers and many more improvements.

With the facebook intregation, players are now able to broadcast their adventures beyond Telara. They can now share their in-game achievements, updates and even screenshots of their adventure.


Below is the Full list of Rift 1.2 Patch Update:

• Facebook Integration – Post updates, screenshots, or Achievements from Telara directly to your Facebook profile.
• Looking for Group– Automatically form groups for dungeons, rifts, and group quests.  Complete random expert dungeons for additional bonuses.
• Wardrobe – Players can configure up to five outfit slots to choose between.
• New Ascended Powers – Omen Sight (Guardian) and Quantum Sight (Defiant) reveal openings to Slivers and even more in the future.
• Additional Role – players can purchase a 5th role for even more class flexibility.
• Many UI Improvements – Auction House, Crafting, and Artifacts all receive useful new refinements.
• Gilded Prophecy Sliver – Rift extends its support of 10-player raids to this new type of instance! Fight against Golden Maw cultists from another reality to prevent them from gaining relics of vast power.
• New Dynamic Content – Two new raid rifts, one new expert group rift, rifts specifically designed around rewarding crafters, and easier access to expert group rifts.
• Planar Chill – Control strategic locations in Iron Pine Peak against planar onslaught
• Scourge of the Sands – Defend precious resources as they are moved to critical locations in Shimmersand Desert, then launch a counter attack
• An Eye for an Eye– Guardians and Defiants summon their respective champions in order to defeat the Colossi in this end-game brawl.
